Difference Between CST and EST

CST vs. EST

“CST” and “EST” are common abbreviations that are used among people and travelers within the United States, Canada, and Mexico. It is a common understanding that due to the alignment of the Earth with the sun, there are various time zones throughout the world. “CST” and “EST” are two abbreviated time zones that are in the Eastern half of the United States. The time zone difference means that there are certain states and cities that are experiencing one time, for example, 8:00 p.m., which in the next time zone over there are other places that are at 7:00 p.m. Time zones are typically studied in elementary education. However, for those who do not have an understanding and knowledge of CST and EST, it can be rather confusing.
