NX Credit vs NX Prepaid

NX, which is issued by the Nexon America, Inc., is virtual money that is used in playing computer games. The NX virtual money can be used for buying certain things like online services or any added feature that comes with the games.

Nexon America, Inc. has brought out two types of NX money – NX credit and NX prepaid. It was in 2009 that Nexon America, Inc. came up with these two modes of cards. Before 2009, the company had only a single type of card called Nexon Cash.

NX prepaid comes with no limitations. It can be charged through PayByCash or Nexon Game Cards. As said earlier, no restrictions come with this card, and one can buy any game item. But there could be certain game level restrictions. The NX prepaid comes in various denominations like $10 and $25.

NX credit is virtual money that comes with certain limitations. This can be charged using PayPal, credit cards, charge mobile, and Earn Free NX. The NX credit can also be charged by accepting offers and also filling out surveys.

One can only charge $60 a month using NX credit. The NX credit virtual money cannot be used for giving gift items.

Let us look at some of the restrictions of NX credit. In Atlantica Online, the credit money cannot be used for buying Blessing Licenses and Clothing Random Boxes until level 30 is reached. In MapleStory, the credit card cannot be used to purchase Character Name Change, Cash Shop Surprise, Character Transfer, and also cannot be used in Maple Trade System. Similarly, NX credit has certain restrictions in the games of Gachapon, Dungeon Fighter Online, PopTag and Vindictus.
