Puerto Plata vs. Punta Cana

However, Punta Cana, just like Puerto Plata, has its own share of fun things to do. Punta Cana is known for its beautiful beaches, and the region’s several shallow marine pools provide visitors with safe places to bathe. Also, many water sports are available on Punta Cana’s beaches.

In summary, Puerto Plata and Punta Cana are both beautiful locations within the Dominican Republic. Nevertheless, the main differences between them are:
