Soccer vs Futsal

Soccer is an outdoor game. On the other hand, Futsal is a type of soccer that is played indoors.

Since soccer is played outdoors, it is played in a larger field than Futsal, which is played in a smaller field. Another difference is in the number of players. There are eleven players play for the game of Soccer while Futsal is played with five players.

In a game of soccer, three substitutions are allowed.There are unlimited substitutions in a game of Futsal. However, the game of Futsal allows 12 substitutions in each team.

Throw in isthe term used in Soccer while kick-in is used in Futsal. Running clock is standard in Soccer whereas Stop clock is the standard in Futsal.

The half time in Soccer is 45 minutes while it is 20 minutes in Futsal. While there are no time-outs in Soccer, there is one time out per half in Futsal. Goal kick is a term used in Soccer while it is goal clearance in Futsal. While the goal keeper in a soccer game cannot touch the ball by hand once the ball is kicked back, the goalkeeper in a Futsal game cannot touch the ball by hand once it is played back. While unlimited back passes are allowed in a game of Soccer, only one back pass to the goalkeeper is allowed in Futsal.

In a game of soccer, no substitute is allowed for a player who is sent off the ground. On the other hand, the player who is set off the ground is replaced by a substitute after two minutes of the game in Futsal.

While a corner kick is placed in the arch in a game of Soccer, this is placed in the corner in Futsal.
