Heaven and hell are associated with religious beliefs. Heaven is a place where the good people end up after death while hell is the destination of the wicked. In all religions, heaven belongs to the meritorious and good souls whereas hell belongs to the souls of the wicked and unsaved.

Those who believe in God have a place in heaven, while Hell is a place for nonbelievers. Heaven is considered to be the abode of the Almighty, whereas hell is considered to be Satan’s. In heaven, the dead attain eternity, while in hell the dead suffer for all their sins committed while on earth.

Heaven is a place where one can enjoy luxury and happiness, but hell is where one can feel only pain and the worst suffering. Heaven is described by most religions as a place having beautiful buildings, streets studded with gold and precious stones. All kinds of luxuries are available in heaven. Hell is described as a place where there is a lake of fire, thorns, burning oil and a host of other undesirable things. All things related to torture are visible in hell.

There is complete peace in heaven and chaos in hell. One can listen to good music and see dance performances in heaven whereas hell is a place where only yelling and howling are heard frequently.  In heaven there is always warmth whereas hell is always cold. Heaven has a pleasant ambiance while hell is gloomy.

It is also believed that heaven is above the earth with hell is beneath or underground.
