Bajaj eliminator vs avenger

Bajaj Eliminator and Avenger are two bikes that have changed the way of riding on the roads. Both the Bajaj Eliminator and Avenger come in the category of cruiser style. Though the two bikes seem similar in their design and style, they differ a lot.

The Bajaj Eliminator was the first to be introduced. When looking at the engines, the avenger comes with 200 cc engine where as the Bajaj eliminator comes with an engine of 150 cc. When the Avenger is equipped with a 4 stroke single cylinder DTS ‘“I- air colled with air cooler engine, the Bajaj eliminator is equipped with only air-cooled 4 stroke engines and no DTS engine. There is also great differrence in the power that the two engines deliver. While Bajaj eliminator delivers 15.2 bhp @ 8500 rpm, the Avenger delivers 19.03 bhp @ 8400 rpm. In torque also, one can come out with differences. The Bajaj eliminator has a torque of 13.7 Nm @7500 rpm and the Avenger has a tourque of 17.5 @ 7000 rpm.

When talking of the difference between Bajaj Eliminator and Avenger, one cannot avoid the difference that is seen in the mileage. The Bajaj eliminator will give a mileage of about 35 to 40 kmpl whereas Avenger will give a mileage of about 40 to 45 kmpl.

Both the bikes offer perfect ride through any bumpy roads as they are fitted with proper suspension and breaks. When comparing the two cruisers, the Bajaj Avenger has a telescopic stroke 140 mm front suspension and Triple rateSpring, 5 way adjustable, Hydraulic Shock Absorvers, Vertical travel 90 mm rear suspension. On the other hand, the Eliminator comes with a telescopic suspension in the front and tariling arm 2 with coaxial hydraulic shock absorber and coil springs in the rear.

The Avenger is a bigger vehicle than the Eliminator. The Avenger has a length of 2195 mm and a height of 1070 mm whereas the Eliminator has a length of 2155 mm and a height of 680 mm.

Summary

1. The avenger comes with 200 cc engine where as the Bajaj eliminator comes with an engine of 150 cc.

2. While Bajaj eliminator delivers 15.2 bhp @ 8500 rpm, the Avenger delivers 19.03 bhp @ 8400 rpm.

3. The Bajaj eliminator will give a mileage of about 35 to 40 kmpl whereas Avenger will give a mileage of about 40 to 45 kmpl.

  2. The eliminator is not 150cc,its an 175cc kawasaki engine which is smoother and more stable than dtsi engine,am riding the eliminator for the past 10years

  5. There is a better option for you . what am suggesting is to buy another eliminator then you can switch spare parts . he he.
