nissan_xterraXterra vs Pathfinder

Xterra and pathfinder, these SUVs have no doubt brought in a great revolution in the automobile industry. Though they come from the same genre Nissan, they have very unique differences. While the pathfinder is more suburban, xterra demands an outdoor adventure.

  1. Man, compare hp/weight or acceleration. Do not compare hp only, that is just playing with meaningless numbers. Listing the trims are also meaningless unless you point out their main advantage or disadvantage. I think there is no concept for benchmarking in this article.

  2. They’re both 72.8 inches wide so, how is the Pathfinder wider?

  3. Um…no. The Pathfinder is NOT wider than the Xterra. I own a 2015 Xterra Pro-4X and a good friend of mine has the Pathfinder. They are both the exact same width.

  4. Nice comparison between both vehicles.

Point of correction. Both vehicles has body-on-frame chassis.

  5. Great article. But there is a small error, the pathfinder 2005-2012 is a body on frame. Search for R51 chassis online and you will see. The old R50 1999-2004 had a unibody.

  6. Useless article. This information must all be country specific, or even just release specific. The trims for the pathfinder changed, there was an adventura and tekna here in the UK. I don’t believe there was a V8 either. it is body and chassis, mine is a 2.5ltr Diesel. So might be worth just rewriting this article based on mine and other glaring errors highlighted in other comments.
