Moisturizer vs Cream

The difference between a moisturizer and a cream is that the moisturizer is a particular kind of matter that is used for restoring moistness into the skin or surface whereas cream is made from oil and used as a lubricant to avoid friction. Creams block the moisture content of the skin whereas moisturizers are much lighter as compared to creams and are absorbed in the skin of the body.

Creams are also used as lubricants or emulsifiers for certain kinds of medication. They may be taken orally for treating the vaginal or rectum diseases etc.

Moisturizer is a combination used for application on various parts of body such as face, hands or feet etc. The naturally derived oil, plant extracts and other rich nutritional elements keep the skin healthy, moisturized and glowing.
