Almost every woman in the world will experience vaginal infection at some point in her life. Among all the infections in the world, the most common one is the vaginal infection, which is present to almost 80% of women. It is not something to be ashamed of because almost all women have this. This should not be kept secret so that it may be treated easily. There are different types of this genital infection, but their symptoms are the same, which is why people tend to mistake one for the other. But those who have symptoms will most probably experience itching irritation, and even redness. One other symptom for this infection is a discharge from the vagina that is gray with a bad smell.

Among all the types of vaginal infection, the yeast infection is the most common of them all. This is caused by an abnormal growth of Candida albicans, a type of fungus. This infection is not sexually transmitted, however, the clothing that one wears causes it. If the clothes are damp, or the baths is not fresh, the clothing is tight, and if the vagina is excessively moisturized, then a woman will most probably get a yeast infection. You will easily notice that you have a yeast infection if you experience, inflammation, irritation and itching. There will also be a white discharge in your vagina if you have this type of infection. You will also be experiencing pain during intercourse and you will be urinating more frequently than usual.
