Difference Between Google Home and Google Assistant

Gone are the days of the conventional stereo systems. Stereo speakers are the things of the past now, with smart speakers constantly on the rise. Smart speakers are the next generation of portable speakers that harness the power of digital voice assistants. With technology giants like Google and Amazon constantly banking on voice-based smart speakers, the world of smart speakers has been rapidly evolving and improving steadily. It is also part of the Google Home voice-based assistant, Google Allo – instant messaging app by Google, and Android Wear watches. It enables both Android and iOS users to ask a range of questions using the mobile devices, without having to physically type anything. It’s an evolution of Google Now and it’s no longer limited to Google-built devices anymore; you can get the most out of Google Assistant on a wide range of smartphones. An iOS version of Google Assistant is also available for iPhone users who’d rather prefer Google Assistant than Siri.

  2. Loving my Hey Google. However, I have a cute little lisp so Voice Recognition and I have had LOTS OF LAUGHS .. I am up way past my bedtime so goodnight and thanks again !

  3. I’m not sure why you’re citing “wake word” or smart home device control as distinctions between Home Mini and Google Assistant. I use both of these products. Both require a “wake word” (unless, perhaps, there’s a way to configure it not to require one, which I haven’t discovered), and I am able to control smart home devices with either product.
