When talking of Life Insurance, the Life Insurance Corporation of India is widely accepted throughout the country. It has a better reach than any other insurance company in India. Every year, the Life Insurance Corporation of India comes out with new insurance policies. The two policies discussed here ‘“ the Amulya Jeevan and Anmol Jeevan ‘“ are a bit old policies.

These two policies of the Life Insurance Corporation of India are term insurances, which means that they are not profit plans. Both Amulya Jeevan Anmol Jeevan does not give survival benefits to a policyholder but gives security to the holder’s family. As Amulya Jeevan Anmol Jeevan are term insurances, a policy holder will not get any maturity benefits; the only benefit is to the family members.

When comparing the two term insurance policies, there are certain minute differences. One such difference is in the coverage. When Anmol Jeevan comes with Rs 25 lakh maximum coverage, Amulya Jeevan comes with a minimum coverage of Rs 25 lakhs. In case of amulya jeevan, there is no upper limit for coverage. It can be seen that Anmol Jeevan comes with a minimum coverage of Rs five lakh, which is not possible in Amulya Jeevan.

In terms of premium, a policyholder of Amulya Jeevan has to pay less than a policyholder of Anmol Jeevan. The maximum age a person can take Anmol Jeevan premium is 55 years.  The maximum entry age for Amulya Jeevan is 60 years.

In terms of maximum age at maturity also, there is a difference of five years between the two policies. When the Maximum age at maturity of Anmol Jeevan is 65, it is 70 years in Amulya Jeevan.

When the policy term for Amulya Jeevan is five to 30 years, the policy term for Anmol Jeevan is five to 25 years.
