Among all the types of vaginal infection, the yeast infection is the most common of them all. This is caused by an abnormal growth of Candida albicans, a type of fungus. This infection is not sexually transmitted, however, the clothing that one wears causes it. If the clothes are damp, or the baths is not fresh, the clothing is tight, and if the vagina is excessively moisturized, then a woman will most probably get a yeast infection. You will easily notice that you have a yeast infection if you experience, inflammation, irritation and itching. There will also be a white discharge in your vagina if you have this type of infection. You will also be experiencing pain during intercourse and you will be urinating more frequently than usual.
