Differences Between Nylons And Tights

Nylons vs Tights

Nylons and tights have long been in a war in regards to ladies’ choice of what they wear. It’s true enough that most ladies do not have any idea what the exact purposes of these two are, but they still manage to choose which one to wear on certain occasions. This is because the main difference of these two pieces of underwear relies on their level of comfort. For further tips on when they should be worn, here are a few tips:

When should you wear a pair of nylons?

When you are going to a party, you need underwear that goes well with formal or fancy clothing. Therefore, you will need to wear nylons or stockings. This is because nylons are more formal than tights. It is an accessory not only to make your legs look good but to make the whole package of what you are wearing look good. Thus, you should also be able to identify what color to wear as dependent on the color of your dress. Nylons’ colors vary from skin tone to black. There will always be a difference in each lady’s skin tone, so be very careful in choosing the nylons that best matches yours.

In addition, nylons can be worn in costume parties. Wearing a costume that is naughty or revealing goes great with nylons. It is better if you avoid using nylons when the weather is cold. A pair of nylons does not really keep you that warm; but it goes great with formal dresses, skirts and cardigans.

Therefore, this just goes to show that nylons are like stockings that are best for proper or formal occasions.

How about the pair of tights?

When you take the time to notice what teens are wearing nowadays, you might realize that they tend to be fond of tights. They wear them under a short skirt or under a dress or shorts. This style is rather informal but suits them. Tights can be worn with such clothing but you also have to be careful on how you mix and match your clothes. Tights also have various colors and even patterns. As you may have noticed, most ladies wear tights that have patterns and designs to go along with just a simple skirt. This is because tights are sort of like a pair of pants. Just like pants, you can wear them with almost anything.

There is just one cardinal rule that you have to be cautious about in wearing tights: you have to wear a loose shirt as a top. A tight shirt and tight pants do not really go well together. You would look thinner if you are thin, or you are showing off your fat if you are kind of chubby.

These days women have a wide variety of a choices on what to wear everyday, or for every occasion. What you should remember is to always put extra consideration into your comfort. You can wear either of these items of clothing as long as you feel comfortable doing so.
