    Interesting article, but it appears to have been written by a Connect:Direct sales person. Where is the mention of encryption via SSL for FTP? And if a halfway decent client is used most of the ‘failings’ are addressed.
    NDM is better than straight FTP when considering large/fast file transfers; it needs to be noted however that this comes at a large cost. FTP on the other hand can allow a basic functional setup for free.

    Is there a unix/linux client to receive files from NDM server ?
    How do get files from NDM server to unix/windows ?

    Highly opinionated and biased review. NDM costs $$$$ Vs SFTP is 0$. All modern platforms built used https and SFTP. The only defense I see is that its paid expensive tool used for file transfer in legacy mainframe systems, this makes less accessible or desirable to hackers to figure out a way to break in. Which brings me to the point its not thoroughly tested by hackers in real world.
