Epiphone Casino vs Sheraton
Epiphone is a company that manufactures musical instruments, especially guitars. Casino and Sherton are the top class guitars made from Epiphone. Though Epiphone Casino and Sheraton guitars look similar, they are different in many aspects.
The Epiphone company started manufacturing Casinos in 1958. One year later, in 1959, the company started manufacturing Shertons.
One of the main differnces that can be seen between the two guitars is that the Epiphone Casino’s body is completely hollow, whereas the Epiphone Sherton has a semi hollow body. The Epiphone Casinos are lighter in weight when compared to Epiphone Sheraton.
When comparing the bridge, the Sherton has a Tune-o-Matic one, and the Casino comes with a fixed bridge. It can also be seen that the Epiphone Casino comes with a 2-P 90s pick up, and the Epiphone Sheraton has New York mini-humbuckers.
The earlier Epiphone Sheraton came with a set glued-in neck and a Frequensator tail piece. Later, the Epiphone Sheraton II was fitted with a fixed stop bar tail-piece. On the other hand, the Epiphone Casino comes with a trapezoid tail-piece. Unlike the Epiphone Sheraton, the Epiphone Casino tail-piece gives a semi-vibrato sound.
When comparing their tones, the Epiphone Casino gives an aggressive, or raw tone, whereas the Epiphone Sherton gives a smoother tone. This means that the Epiphone Shertons do not produce a very loud sound, like the Epiphone Casinos.
The Epiphone Casino and the Epiphone Sheraton also come in different colors. The Epiphone Sheraton guitars usually come in ebony, vintage sunburst and natural colors. On the other hand, Epiphone Casinos come in three different colors – sunburst, natural and cherry.

Forgot to mention important things:
Korean and now Chinese made Sheraton II have full size classic 57 like humbuckers and only the elitist from japan or usa came with mini humbuckers.
Also the absence of centerblock on the hollow Casino makes it less desirable for loud stage playing as it will feedback like hell.
The fact the Sheraton weight much also add to its sustain capability.
These are completely 2 diferent animals.
