I disagree about the “peculiar taste” of goat milk. My goat’s milk is very sweet and creamy, and she is allowed to eat pasture and weeds. The secret to good tasting goat milk is meticulous cleanliness and prompt chilling of the milk. After 3-4 days, unpasteurized milk will get an off taste, but that is due to bacterial growth, not an inherent off taste of the milk.
