This article contains a host of serious errors. The author accuses the Orthodox Church of blatant and atrocious heresies which the barest research would show to be ridiculous. For instance, he says that the Orthodox Church believes that the Son was created by the Father! This is the Arian heresy, long ago declared anathema to the true and orthodox faith!

Orthodox Christians affirm the Nicene creed, as do all major Christian branches, which in part states: “ We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
    the only Son of God,
    eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
    true God from true God,
    begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father.

Begotten, not made. This is an absolutely bedrock principle and this article failed. Trust nothing in this article. There are so many other errors. There is little difference between eastern and western theology at the core. We all trust the same creeds and the seven ecumenical councils.

I beg you, if you want information on Eastern Orthodoxy read a more reliable source like the Orthodox Wiki online.

I have only recently discovered “differencebetween.net” and I have enjoyed the several articles that I have read. However, I feel the need to offer some constructive criticism:

This article (Difference Between Western Christianity and Eastern Christianity) and a few others I have read have poor grammar. I am not a grammar prude but there are so many errors it becomes difficult to read. To be sure I wasn’t over reacting, I checked this article using grammarly.com. It confirms my concern.

I recommend that you randomly spot-check several of your other articles. I suspect you will find this to be a common problem, unless you have multiple writers.

Too many errors, I’m assuming this was written by some protestant who hates the true apostolic churches, so he/they doesn’t care to even fact check everything he/they wrote. Irony they say we twisted the Bible when the protestant is the one twisting the Bible to fit their man made tradition! Do not trust this article.
