Most of the people do not find any differences between criminal justice and criminology. Though they are related to each other, they are totally different.

Criminology mainly deals with the research of crimes. People who purse criminology careers can look for various jobs like: Crime Management officer, community worker, and Drug Enforcement agent. A criminologist may be hired by NGOs, research organizations, detective agencies, and private security agencies.

While criminology makes use of scientific methods to study a crime, criminal justice makes use of the law in dealing with a crime. While criminology is practiced in laboratories, social settings, and research facilities, criminal justice is practiced only in courts.
