It should be mentioned that 90% of the Kathak moves and the costume come from the Persian dance. So due credit to the Iranian people have to be given.

Wrong – Kathak existed before way before Persians made direct inroutes into India. The original Kathak was a purely Indian development unlike the current one we see now.

Similiarly, Bharatnatyam is purely Indian and has remained so.

this is incomplete information entirely. even trying to promote one dance form over other. Kathak is a very old dance form originated in temples of Uttar Pradesh. It was well in form in gupta dynasty and considered to have its origin in mauryan dynasty.
The mughals gave some persian influence to the dance and increased its versatility. the later generation used it mainly for radha krishna raasleela but its original form was used for all the gods. In fact it used to start with homage to the The Holy Trinity.
Its movement are sharp and crisp along with lyrical dance and involves depicting each beat with movements and each word of a song with postures.

Kathak existed long before the Persians came…. When they came, Kathak took a few good parts from them. It’s solely Indian.
