The cutest and most popular monsters in the Nintendo role playing game scene have yet another version to treat the avid fans of the game and the animated TV series. The Pokemon Black and White are the first of the fifth generation Pokemon role playing games in Nintendo. It was released in Japan in September, 2010, to be followed by the United States, Europe, and Australia in March, 2011. It became the fastest DS to sell over 5 million copies in Japan as of January 9, 2011.

Pokemon Black and White have the same game features with the instalments prior to its release. However, this fifth instalment has some changes in the core game play. The story focuses on a Pokemon trainer who wants to be the champion of the Unova region. The trainer will be the champion if he defeats the Elite Four, the top trainers of the region. In this installment, 156 new Pokémons will be introduced making the list 649 Pokemons in all. You have to obtain all 649 to complete the Pokedex, an index of Pokemons in the game. Black and White are separate games, but you can trade Pokemons between them.

Two of the major differences between the Pokemon Black and Pokemon White are the locations and the Pokemon.

Only in Pokemon Black is the black city exclusively present. Also, the legendary Reshiram will star in the Black version of the fifth installment of Pokemon role playing games in Nintendo. The black city in Pokemon Black will feature many tasks that will not appear in the White version. You will also be able to encounter new trainers in this place where you may gain more experience.

Also, Reshiram, a legendary Pokemon, will appear only in the Black version. Reshiram is a vast white Pokemon with the skill Turboblaze. It also can do the Cross Flame. Reshiram is a dragon-like Pokemon with blue eyes and rings around his thin neck. It has a smooth tail with bands on its hands, feather-like arms with four claws, and it has a nice, white mane. Its physical appearance has a resemblance to its legendary counterpart Zekrom.

Zekrom will be featured only in Pokemon White. Also, the white forest will be located exclusively in Pokemon White. This forest will have so many different Pokemon, trainers, and tasks that may not appear in the Black version. There will be 32 Pokemons in this forest which will not be available in the Black version. Also, there will be items here exclusively for the White version.

Zekrom, the counterpart of Reshiram, will be exclusively featured here in the White version. Its skill is the Teravolt. It also has the Cross Thunder. Together with Reshiram’s Cross Flame, they can create a very strong strike. It looks a bit like Reshiram, only Zekrom has red eyes, dark gray armor-like skin, and a generator-like tail. It looks scarier compared with Reshiram.

SUMMARY:

1. The Black version has the Black City while the White version has the White Forest.

2.The Black version features Reshiram while the White version features Zekrom.
