Did not get from the article how to say: to tell lye or lie, how do I lie or lye. He lies or what? What does it mean?
    Sorry, I am not English.

The word lie as a noun can also refer to location as in the lie of a golf ball.

I now understand that I always use “lie” unless referring to a chemical.
    Very useful thanks.

Seems like my auto correct on my phone is always trying to tell me I’m not correct to use the word lieing when I’m trying to talk about falsehoods , am I spelling it incorrectly or is there a problem with ignorance in my auto correct .
