    That’s odd to say that jet black is unnatural. Until my 30’s, my hair was naturally jet black from birth.

    I remember changing barbers (when I had hair) in my middle teens and she wanted to know what type of tint I was using. I explained to her that my hair had always had suttle blue highlights. She didn’t believe me until about 4 years of cutting my hair.

    Now that I’m in my mid 40s and balding with salt and pepper hair I’ve noticed that the blue sheen has fading, but when I do lose a strand of black hair from my beard it still has the bluish highlight.

    Sorry the writer of this article doesn’t know their subject very well. And by the way my younger cousins Steven has the exact same hair color I had. Even with the blue highlights.
