    I will preface my comment by saying – yes, I read the “AS IS” disclaimer. But I want to let you know that your Difference between AHIMA & AAPC article states – “The AAPC, on the other hand, certifies prospective medical coders for outpatient coding.” but when I visit the AAPC website I find they also offer a certification exam for INPATIENT coding. Here is the link – https://www.aapc.com/certification/cic/
    From what I can tell these two organizations are just two different associations that any Health Information professionals can choose to join or pursue their certifications through.
    An additional note – the third sentence in the second paragraph of your article is sort of broken.
