The cows that produce regular milk are also injected with hormones in order to increase their milk production. Because of their intake of synthetic hormones and antibiotics, the milk produced can result to a lower shelf compared to organic milk.

Even though we know that anything organic is likely healthier, is regular milk not nutritious and safe to drink also? Both kinds of milk are equally nutritious and safe. Even if regular milk is produced from cows that eat chemically treated grass, studies have shown that the quality of milk in terms of nutrition and safety is not affected. Regular milk won’t be sold if it doesn’t pass government standards. So even if you buy regular milk, you can still get the nutrition you need and you won’t need to be worried about chemical poisoning.

However, if you still want to be sure, you can opt for the high priced organic milk with assured nutrition and safety. The price of organic milk is often double the price of regular milk. The manufacturers of organic milk make sure that they only deliver the best quality milk through natural production. Even if organic milk is pricier than regular milk, there are still a lot of people who won’t mind paying a higher price for the benefit of safety and nutrition.

With regards to the taste, many people claim that organic milk is creamier and sweeter than regular milk. They say that regular milk is more watery and less sweet than organic milk. Nevertheless, it depends on people’s preferences.

Again, if you say yes to organic milk, you are also helping the environment. It only means that you probably don’t support anyone who uses chemicals and synthetic hormones, which can have a bad effect on the environment.
