Steel comes in many varieties and each of them has very specific features and qualities. Let us look at Aluminized steel and stainless steel.

The first thing to talk about is the economical aspect of these two varieties of steel. Aluminised steel is a bit economical than the stainless steel. This is because of the production cost of Aluminised steel is low when compared to the production cost of stainless steel.

Now coming to the strength of these steels, the stainless steel is stronger of the two. They are also more durable than aluminised steel. In respect to rusting, stainless steel does not rust. This is because of the presence of chromium. On the other hand, Aluminised steel can get corroded if the aluminium coat gets broken.

When comparing Aluminised steel and stainless steel, the former ones have high thermal conductivity. Unlike the aluminised steel, the stainless steel has a high thermal expansion coefficient, which means that it could change shape when exposed to over heat.  Moreover, Aluminised steel comes with electrostatic surface and it is because of it that it is mainly used in making exhaust systems and mufflers.

Some of the common products made from aluminized steel include water heaters, ranges, furnaces, space heaters and grills. Stainless steel is also used in the manufacture of many things like kitchen utensils, cookware, storage tanks and even in the construction industry.

It can also be seen that stainless has aesthetics when compared to aluminised steel. It comes in matt finish, engraved finish and brushed finish. This is why stainless steel is used in buildings, which add to its beauty.
