    She feels cold.
    She feels the blanket.
please help to make me clear how the word feel is an action word in the second sentence

Cold is an abstract noun, and the blanket is a concrete noun. This changes the way “feels” is being used in the sentence because it can actually feel the blanket on her but when she feels cold it’s not an actual thing she feels, it’s just an expression.

Hello! I have a doubt about these sentences “there are many hollydays in the United States. One of them is halloween. It is on October 31”

When we have a there + be, that “be” would be an aux? What about the other sentence. What is “one of them”? Finally, it is on October 31, the verb “is” is a linking verb followed by a prepositional phrase, am I right? I have some deep doubts about those sentences :/
