My doctor recommended Citrucel only. I don’t if it’s in regards to ‘gas effect’ mentioned or not but I’ve tried to stay within his recommendation yet it’s been difficult to find lately.

My doctor recommended Citrucel only. I have been taking Citrucel caplets since 2013. I have taken others but gasser and do not work as well for me. I am very regular with Citrucel. Seems I have a longer colon which explains my constipation problems. I take four caplets per day so use a lot. Now finding then at all has become problematic. If found, price is sky high on them. I wonder if they were going to quit making them.

The Cetrucel container clearly recommends one heaping tablespoon, or more, not 1 teaspoon.

The instructions on the 30 oz. CITRUCEL container read Tablespoon not teaspoon as mention in the article.
