  1. Very detailed, informative and well-written article! But there is no mention of the LX-Premium (commonly called the LX-P), which is a trim level between the base LX and EX models…

The LX-P is only available with the Automatic transmission, while the LX and EX are both available with manual or automatic transmission. The LX-P adds the following to the standard LX model-

16″ alloy wheels (base LX has 16″ steel wheels with plastic wheel covers)
    Security system
    8-way Power Driver’s Seat
    Chrome exhaust tip finisher
Auto Up/Down for Driver & Passenger Windows
    Illuminated Window Switches

The LX-P retails for $1,000 more than the base LX A/T 4-door.

  4. I own an EX-L model. This has 16″ alloy rims. Also, the user manual specifies that it comes with 16″alloy rims (for all EX models).

Just this one correction. But yes, you mentioned other features right.
In addition though, the EX model seems to consume slightly more fuel than the LX model. Well, having a more powerful engine explains it.

    Thanks for these clarifications though.
