FX35 vs MDX

Acura MDX can seat seven compared to the five of the Infiniti FX35. It is not only in the seating capacity that the two autos differ, but they also differ in other features.

When talking about the engines, the Infiniti FX35 has a smaller engine than the Acura MDX. The Acura MDX is equipped with a 3.7 L, V 6 engine, whereas the Infiniti FX35 comes with a 3.5 L, V 6 engine. In regards to horsepower, the Infiniti FX35 has a slightly higher horse power than that of the Acura MDX. Where the Infiniti FX35 has a 303 horse power at 6300 rpm, the Acura MDX has a horse power of 303 at 6800 rpm. Where the Acura MDX comes in a six speed auto transmission, the Infiniti FX35 has a seven speed auto transmission.

When comparing their interior, the Infiniti FX35 has more head room in the front cabin than the Acura MDX. On the other hand, the Acura MDX has more head and leg room in the back than the Infiniti FX35.

When comparing the towing range between the Acura MDX and the Infiniti, the former one has a higher towing range. Where the Acura MDX can tow about 5000 pounds, the Infiniti FX35 can only tow about 2000 pounds.

Another difference that can be seen is that the Acura MDX is a bit larger than the Infiniti FX35. Acura MDX vehicles have a length of 191.6”, a width of 78.5”, and a height of 66.2”. On the other hand, the Infiniti FX35 has a length of 191.3”, a width of 75.9”, and a height of 65.0”.

The Acura MDX as a wheel base of 108.3 ‘, and the Infiniti FX35 has a wheel base of 113.5’. The Acura MDX is also heavier than the Infiniti FX35.
