HEY! You need to change the word lesser because it is NOT a word! If you don’t change it you will teach children poor English. Totally insane.

For the inner planets it takes lesser time to complete an orbit around the Sun whereas outer planets take greater time due to their greater distance from the Sun

There are a few flaws. Venus takes 243 Earth days (5,832 hours) to complete a rotation, not 243 hours, and Jupiter takes 11.88 Earth years to complete an orbit, not 164 years. I think you got mixed up because Neptune takes 164 years to orbit the sun. And yes, the inner planets are much warmer than the outer planets, Mercury at night, is FREEZING!!! It’s -290 Fahrenheit (179 Celsius). That’s colder than Jupiter’s temperature (-238 Fahrenheit or -150 Celsius) and Saturn’s temperature (-285 Fahrenheit or -176 Celsius).

    Please, correct this error.
Article states “Jupiter takes 164 Earth years to complete one orbit!”
In fact Jupiter takes about 12 years to orbit the sun.
